Biography
After high school I decided to study “Technical Cybernetics and Theory of Systems” at TU-Ilmenau. As I have been interested in stock markets since I was 16 years old, I applied data analytics skills to build models for asset price prediction.
Interests
I love data and markets! So building trading strategies is my job and my hobby. There are a million ways to get an edge in the markets and there is just one rule: The more creative – the better!

Methods
To check out if a trading idea is worth to be traded I build a basic set of rules and apply them on the historical data of the market. If the backtests significantly outperform the benchmark in terms of profits per risk, I’m (my bot) usually interested to apply the strategy in live trading.
Tool
I analyse the data primarly with python. Sometimes I also use Tradingview or the StrategyQuant. Python is my language of choice, because it is the most flexible one. Of course you have to write a lot of code on your own, but it is worth it.
